ok this is getting frustrating! I've been at this project 2 weeks and I am getting closer but this should be easier! lol first had loads of issues with getting spdif sound.. decided to give up on the audigy, and now sound works great in xine! however it won't recognize the correct keys on my MCE remote, and I've tried editing the .lircrc file, I probably am just not doing it right.. Mplayer will finally pass AC3 but no sub! (same with encoding using transcode), they play with my sub fine out of xine, but not mplayer. So to sum up I have audio working great in xine, but no keymapping mplayer I have keymapping but no sub (not to mention when ripping)... what the heck?? I just want a working dvd solution Suggestions?! everything I've seen is for the Happauge remote not MCE USB.. HELP! |

ok lesson.. always give up and post.. cause u'll end up fixing it 10 minutes later.. found a good lircc file with all the changes in it.. and now xine works good.. testing a rip now.. hoping its just the player thats not kicking my sub on.. let you know how it goes |

where did you get the lircrc file for xine. I am having the same issue. |
