HELP...

I am using R5B7 and noticed that my disk filled up so I removed all my recordings and noticed a bunch of .mpg and .nuv files left behind in /myth/tv.

On further inspection live TV is creating these but not removing them or so it seems.

Is this a .19 thing or have I missed a setting ??

I did read autoexpire is needed but to think it will fill my 200 gig with junk seems a bit over the top. I need room for my tunes as well...

R5B7
DVICO DVB-T lite
200 maxtor
1800 duron
512 ram

many thanks ooh learned ones..

AGGGH I see now 'tis hiding in an obscure place..

Perhaps I show have looked a bit harder apologies for taking up time and space.

For anyone interested:

Under TV Settings/General on the first screen at the bottom is a setting Live TV Recorings max age. I set this to 30 days thinking it was going to delete my much needed TV recordings and being a channel surfer it filled my disk (obviously expiring as it went). This is a lot differnt to the previous release and obviouly a totally different dirrection. Good in some ways one could obviously review a show within the timeframe which is good. I will have to cut back on my channel jumping (sob sob).

A further setting here would help me thinks.. perhaps a minimum keep time or something like if you visit a channel of >30 secs it ignores the 1 day timeout. A good option to help overcome this is on page 3 (i think) it is called Extra Disk Space. This allows you to keep a bit for video/games/tunes etc.. Its all good so far and Kudos to all involved.

A bit more research would have told me this. Typical of someone exicted by a new release that has a compulsion to tinker.

My long suffering partner is nearly used to my need to fiddle so god bless her patience and all like her.
