I am running a mythtv 0.18.1 client to my 0.18.1 server over a 802.11g wireless connection. Occasionally, playback of recordings on the client will all of a sudden stop and I am kicked back to the "Recorded Programs" list. Looking at the logs on the backend, I am getting the following:

2006-03-10 21:15:21.625 MainServer::HandleAnnounce Playback
2006-03-10 21:15:21.655 adding: ubuntu as a client (events: 0)

2006-03-10 21:15:42.410 WriteBlock zerocnt timeout

(bolding mine) A google search indicated that the backend thinks the playback is done so it stops. I am guessing that this problem is caused by network lag on my wifi connection. Is anyone aware of configuration settings to prevent this timeout or any other way to solve this problem?

Thanks.

I actually just started having this problem over a wired network.

Any ideas why a problem like this would crop up all of a sudden after months of use without problems?
