I have several Divx movies on CD in my collection that I watch on my Divx/DVD player constantly. However, I am having issues getting them to work through Mythtv. I pop the CD in, choose Optical Discs from the main menu, and click MPEG-4 Disc and it brings up an LIRC browser window. It shows the title of the movie on the disc, but when I click it to begin playing, it does nothing. I am able to copy the movie to the videos folder and watch them from the hard drive, so all of my codecs are installed and the players are configured. Has anyone else tried running from CD's with this problem?

Start lircnav from an xterm and look at it's output. Depending on the version you have installed, /mnt/cdrom should be symlinked to /myth/video/cdrom. So if go to watch videos, the contents on the CD should also be displayed.
