I have 2 analog capture cards (PVR-150s) and 1 DVB card (Fusion HDTV 3 Gold-Q). Everything works amazingly well, but there is one thing I can't figure out:

Is it possible to set which input connection MythTV uses when first entering Live TV? I see it is possible to set the default channel per input connection. I also see it is possible to assign an input connection a higher priority for recording.

But it seems that no matter the priority, MythTV always defaults to my DVB card when I start LiveTV.

In case you're wondering, I use the DVB card to capture 4 QAM stations (the major networks) and the analog cards capture the rest of my cable lineup. 90% of the time, I'm going to live tv to watch ESPN so I'd like it to default to one of the two PVR-150 cards. I do not get ESPN as unencrypted QAM in my area.

I poked around the mythconverg mysql tables, but didn't see anything that looked like a "defaultcard" for Watching Live TV.

Thanks for this wonderful forum.

if you just want to swap them then there is a checkbox in one of the menus (sorry can't remember which at the moment) that says avoid conflicts for livetv and that will do what you want.

Thanks, that totally worked! Going into Live TV now defaults to the analog Hauppauge cards.
