I have a weird issue that I cannot seem to track down. I have burned one good dvd that plays fine in a normal dvd player. My problem is the other 15 that I have burned come out way to small. Like a 2 gig movie will come out 300 megs, and the easiest way for me to explain it is to reference it to DVD Shrink, when it runs the very first run through the dvd, it skips like every 5 minutes, and takes like 30 seconds. Thats what the final dvd looks like. I skips in 5 minutes incriments, so it only takes like 3 minutes to watch the entire movie :) Not sure if anyone else is having this problem. I am using the latest mythburn cvs and I am running it on .19-fixes release. I am attaching the mythburn.log ... maybe someone can see something that I don't. I have cut out the really repetative stuff.

Thanks
B

I have experienced it, and came to the conclusion that it was essentially a bad recording, check out the 11 thousand errors/warnings from projectX in your logfile!

In my case it was definately the projectX part that was failing, I tried it in projectX gui and it was the same. I noticed that if I set cut points around the "bad" part in projectX then it would demux the file fine.

I was experiencing quite bad reception at the time, prior to upgrading my antenna, eg buying a proper one rather than a stupid indoor type.

I can't offer much help in terms of fixing it though, except perhaps try a different demux method. There are a couple of other versions remaining in the remplex.sh script, I believe (that do not use projectX).
Might be worth giving them a try ?

I'm getting the same problem with mythburn with the majority of my mpeg2 lossless transcoded recordings. The audio sounds good when I play the recording back from mythtv however. Did you find a solution for this?
