The output of mtd is..
fileobs.o: Ripfile tried to write 518144 bytes, but only managed to write 43827221:04:11: Error: Couldn't write blocks during a rip. Filesystem size exceeded? Disc full?
21:04:15: job failed: job dvd 2 1 0 1 -1 /mnt/myth/video/DONNIE_DARKO_DIRECTORS_CUT_DIS
My video dir is mounted over the network to my backend machine
/myth/video -> /mnt/myth/video

Any ideas?

Thanks

Thanks

Reserved index space for the file system.

What about a permissions issue. mtd runs as the mythtv user. Does this user have write permissions?

I run the mtd as my own user, same one I run the frontend with. It seems to encode for a bit and then throw up that error.

Confused.

I've tried changing the share from a Samba share to an NFS. I'll test it later although the fact the filesystem is shared should be irrelevant.

Thanks alot for the help though.

Dom

Ok I'm a muppet, I was running out of space on the local filesystem for the temp folder, not the video dir on the remote share :lol:
