I am under the impression that R5V10 is supposed to automatically configure the EPIA M mpeg decoder, I hope I'm not wrong.

When I installed R5V10 the first time selected i586 plus lirc and xvmc modules. in this case mythfrontend was unable to initialize video when I tried to watch TV. I re-installed, this time NOT selecting xvmc and everything works properly, however now I only get a few frames per second and choppy sound because my 933Mhz processor is unable to decode by itself. I assume what is happening is that when I select xvmc knoppmyth is trying to configure the PVR-350's output instead of the onboard decoder, is there some way for me to fix this without going through the long complicated process like on R4?

I really appreciate any help.

no actually what's happening is that the xvmc packages are compiled for nvidia not cle266. Sorry the only way to get xvmc support is going to be to make sure the unicrome drivers are installed, and recompile mythtv with xvmc support for it. I think this is being looked at, but nothing has made it into A10.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. Are the instructions in the wiki for R4 still valid for R5?
