I believe there is an error in the channel up/down...they are reversed. If I get a chance too tonight I will correct it, otherwise it may be 7-10 days.
Hope everything works well for you. I re-set up R4v4.1 last night after a short visit to SageTV (I will leave that to another post). Myth 0.15 runs WAY better on my system...I am lovin it!

Any updates now that ati-remote is part of the kernel now? What about other remotes like the X10 lola and the Niveus?

I'm a little lost on the overall process to make a remote work in mythtv, especially without lirc.

Well, my only experience has been with the ATI. The reason that this works without LIRC (and there is a LIRC module for it as well, should you want to go that route) is because the GATOS driver for the ATI emulates a keyboard.

This post is out of date. Now that thye ati remote support is built into the kernel, how can we go about modifying the keys? What I really need is just an escape key. But it would be nice to be able to configure the remote as the parent thread demonstrates.
