I've installed a PVR-150 and an SB PCI card in a R5A12 system.

I am using the back ported, but stable, ivtv with PVR 150 support. The only issue I'm having is somethings when I change channels in Live TV I get a hiss or a low hum on the audio. Other channels won't have it, and it isn't consistently always the same channel with the problem. I also had it appear ina recording early this morning, but when I visited the channel late this morning there was no problem with the audio.

I'm not sure if it is the encoder or my sound card, but since it appeared in the recording, it would appear to be the encoder.

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix?

I do realize the driver is under heavy devel so that might be the issue...

Watching the patch list at http://www.ivtv.tv makes me think that it is a driver issue for the tuner and that it has recently been fixed in the unstable branch. I'm away from the box for a few days but when I get back to it I'm going to format and install R5A15 then move up to a newer unstable rev of the driver and see what happens.
