This is in two parts-

Part1: Ive got a p3 800mhz running in a jury-rigged case (dell used proprietary mobo->power so I couldn't switch that without getting new mobo)

What I wan't to do for now is use my crappy wintvGo card to Cap ONLY, to a 20gb hard drive and then upload my recorded stuff via 100mbps ethernet to my Godbox (3ghz...2gb ram...1/2TB of diskspace and dvd burner etc...)

Ive heard mythtv can be programed to record using external terminals so the setup for now I think would be just the mythbox with no tv-out (since I don't have a video card for that) and just use the cap card and onboard video to set it up and leave it running.

20gb will get about ~8 hours after install of O\S so thats more than enough headroom before I'd have to transfer to the main comp.

Part2: I'm planning to upgrade to a much better pvr-card. Probably hauppage pvr-250 or 350. I'll slowly upgrade until I have a nicer looking box with hardware fast enough to play\record at same time. Any recomendations are welcomed.
