Has somebody be so kind, and show me simple steep-by-steep procedure for upgrade PVR250 firmware under Linux (MythTV) ?

On Hauppauge site, I can find drivers for Windows. I assume, they contain among Windows code also card firmware, and firmware is upgraded during Windows drivers instalation pahse. Is it true ?

How can I upgrade PVR250 firmware under Myth without using Windows ?

Sorry but I'm going to have to tell you to search, mostly because I'd have to do the same.

The ivtv driver come with a utility script to extract the firmware from the windows packaging and put them in the right place under the /lib/modules directory, but it's name utterly escapes me. Reading the pages listed here http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-index.php?page=Drivers+and+Firmware on the IVTV Wiki should provide the needed clues...

OBTW - Please don't post the same question in multiple subforums, and if Cecil deletes your posting because you put it somewhere it didn't belong (and where he has sticky "read this before posting" notices telling you that's exactly what's going to happen) please don't repost it in the same place...
