I've looked around on the forums and tried everything in the MythTV docs and nothing has helped.

So heres the deal, I installed KnoppMyth and everything sets up fine with no obvious errors. When I watch live TV there is no sound and the playback is jittery. When I exit myth the xterm is saying

prebuffer wait timed out..
waiting for prebuffer...
prebuffering pause
(repeat)

It says this a lot.. and I assume it has somthing to do with myth not being able to capture sound (from the myth docs it says this is a possible cause for the jitters). I've set in alsamixer to 'captur' Mic and Capture and have muted Mic (obviously I have the audio connected to my Mic port).

So thats my first problem.. my second problem is with the Hue of each channel is way off. If I hit 'G' while watching tv and turn the hue to 0% the picture looks normal and how it should be.. but this only changes it for the one channel. Is there a way to change the hue for all channels at once?

AMD 2000+
nForce 2 motherboard with AC97 onboard audio
512 2700 DDR ram
250GB harddrive hitachi
Onboard geforce4mx video
ATI TV Wonder Pro tuner
