I have an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, and a Panasonic 26in Widescreen HDTV (CT-26WX15). I am wondering what I should use for the Modelines and also what the Vert/Horizontal Sync would be? I have scanned through the manual that came with the TV and it shows this information for the following resolutions.

Quote:
Format: 1080i
No. of Dots: 1920x1080i
Vertical Scanning Frequency (Hz): 59.94 / 60

Format: 480p
No. of Dots: 720x480p, 640x480p
Vertical Scanning Frequency (Hz): 59.94 / 60

Format: 480i
No. of Dots: 720x480i
Vertical Scanning Frequency (Hz): 59.94 / 60

Right now I am using the VGA out on the card, but I just ordered a DVi -> HDMI Convertor (ATi Card has DVI, TV Has HDMI). If anyone can give me the settings or tell me how to find out what the Vert/Hortz/Modelines are etc that would help a lot. Thanks a Ton in Advance.

well you are going to want to use 1080i if the ati drivers will do it, and the vert refresh is going to be 60, so just use the standard horz vert refresh rates listed for tvout in all the install docs and howto's. for 1080i modelines look through the hdtv section of the forum. I recently posted my modelines there, one of which is a 1080i modeline.
