I have just purchased a D-Link DWLG510 and have found out that it is a RaLink chipset.

Im doing a fresh install of R5D1 and when it asked about my network i pick the ra0. After about 5 seconds once a list of text has come on the screen it freezes. Is there an easy fix to get this working or should I take the card back and try and find something thats more compatible with linux?

Ive run lspci and I can see it listed under my pci cards.
I have read some old forums that sais that Ralink doesnt support smp. Has this changed? If i recompile the kernel without smp will it effect mythtv?

After weeks of trying couldnt get it to work and ended up taking it back and have gone with cat6 connection.
