Hi I'm looking into making a mythbox with two tv turners and are about to buy the PVR-500 im getting it for around 150 with a remote and a $30 mail in rebate,so after rebate its 120, is this a good price, would it just be cheaper/better to get two cards instead of this one? which ones?

Use one of the web shopping sites, like Pricegrabber, to compare prices. For the kit with the remote that sounds like a good price. Getting 2 PVR-150's, (one with a remote, one without) is about the same price withing a couple $ either way. However there are some PVR-500's out there at the moment with a (currently) unsupported tuner chip. For PVR-150's at worst you'll need to manually set the tuner type. This is _very_ subject to change as our friends at Hauppauge introduce new tuner chips at a dizzying pace.
