I have a test system setup using a P3-866 with a PVR-350 card. I'm interested in trying to capture digital TV (DTV) but it does not need to be in full HDTV resolution. I do not have a TV that supports HDTV but hope to sometime next year.

Would I be able to capture HDTV/DTV using an air2PC rev .02 card and convert to a resolution that the 350 and my P3-866 could handle ? I'm currently using a DirecTivo to record TV so the KnoppMyth system is really a test system for now. I hope to drop DirecTV when I get a better hardware solution to run KnoppMyth.

You can capture HD/DTV using the 866 processor just fine, it's the playback that's the issue (ofcourse). Transcoding a HD signal would probably be time prohibitive on your 866 as the system would be so busy for so long (hours for one show) that it wouldn't be much use for anything else during that time. A simple digital signal should be no big deal however.
