Hi all this Be my first post ! Anyway I had finally got my knopmyth box togather (used knopmyth breifly before but had to return my motherboard, so I had just got it back) a few days after the change to xmltv and could never get the listings to work right after the patching etc...
so I had to go outa town and when I came back Here is the nice new KnoppMyth v4.4 to fix all those issues.

I installed it But I Can't get audio to work right . I have no Problem Watching TV and Dvd rips, and can Listen & watch Dvd's and previosly recorded mp3s . But I can't get audio from tv or dvd rips haven't tried cd's or ripping them yet. I've played the files from my KNOPPMYTH on a windows box with the same effect No Sound but great video. my sound worked fine on KM 4.3 but I can't figureout the xmltv thing on 4.3. Also I installed Xmvc(or whatever install-i686-x installs) and have no issures with it.

I have this as a real settop box so other suggestions on how to get the built-in nvidia tv out to fill the screen and how to enable surround sound(my board suppots 5.1 but only has line-in,line-out and mic) are greatly appreciated

My hardware is :
MSI K7N2GM-L /w geforce 4 Composite video out IGP
PVR250 (remote is half grey half black and works well)
AMD 2200 at 1800mhz 266FSB
512mb cas 2.5 pc2100 ddr
40 GB HD (for system cache games and music...)
92 GB HD (strictly for tv and video)

Thats a lot of questions (or problems for one post), Have you tried searching the forums for similar issue because Im almost sure just about everyone is covered. For sure the TV out and sound issues.

Ok Thanks for pointing those posts out (I did look for those I gues I just wasent looking in the right place ). my live tv and transcoding audio works now.
