The 0x6c key fixed the green/purple for me, but unfortunately the s-video remains black&white after changing that ox2d key

Maybe it's just a typo in your message, but that should be a numeric 0 in "0x2d". It looks like you have the letter o in the key of your message.

See if this fixes your s-video output...

ivtvctl -l 2

If you are using the s-video input as well: ivtvctl -p 6

I get as far as:

#Compile the new driver
cp videodev2.h ../driver
cd ../driver
make

Then get

root@mythtv1:/usr/src/ivtv-0.3.2i/driver# make
make CONFIG_VIDEO_IVTV=m -C /lib/modules/2.6.9-chw-4/build M=/usr/src/ivtv-0.3.2i/driver modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.9-chw-4/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: *** [all] Error 2

Anything I may have missed?

What distro are you using? R5A12?

I found that the kernel stuff "/lib/modules/2.6.9-chw-4" just needed to be extracted on the R5 distros.

FYI, I have the beginnins of a script that will take a stock R5A12 new install and make pvr-350 out work. It solves a few pesky problems that were posted here and there (like the remote not working).

I'll take any suggestions if you offer. I'd like to do some more work on this and have it be as flexible as can be (maybe with options to d/l the latest IVTV drivers).
