Is or has anyone used there cards. I have one kicking around and wanted to know if this would cause any issues within mythtv. As far as all the linux forums Ive been through it looks like linux fully supports it.

Also would knoppmyth have any issues with installing on a drive that isnt /dev/hda?

Would I maybe have to pass the install a parameter before it the install starts?

Thx

Answers to my own questions lol:

1) Here is a reply found from Jarod himself , the guy responsible for the great Fedora Mythtv guides:

Both of those are supported out of the box, I have several.

2) And the knoppmyth is hard coded on the cd but I can install on the 250gig drive on IDE1 (hda) first then use a knoppix cd or fedora cd use the command linux rescue and go into the partition and fix lilo to point to the new drive and rerun lilo.

Thx anyways :)
