I'm using an ATI TV Wonder Pro (rev f). It was a pain to get working, but ended up with the following /etc/mythtv/modules/bttv:


Now I can get audio and video from within mythtv, but when I watch live tv I get it only for about a half second, then it pauses, then the video tries to catch up a bit, then it pauses, and so forth. When I watch a recording, it just appends all the boogered up, sped up video and audio together. When I look a dmesg, it looks like bttv gets a HSYNC OFLOW error.

I also cannot get anything with xawtv. I just get a black screen, not all the controls are there (hue, brightness, etc. are missing), and a bunch of console output.

I suppose it could be my motherboard, or the fact that it is a brand new TV Wonder Pro, which linux identifies as a Conexant Winfast TV2000 XP (rev 05) using lspci.

I'll also try running it in windows to see if it is a hardware issue. I'm hoping that I don't have to edit the cx88xx source code to get my card working. Any help would be much appreciated.
