After installing KnoppMyth, I have installed the Linux drivers from ATI (it is a RADEON 9200).
The PC is connected to a TV (there is no issue when the CRT is used instead of the TV).

When I use X11 with MPlayer, the result is fine (but not CPU off course).

When I use Xv with Mplayer, the video is displayed only with the top half of the pictures stretched to fill the screen.

I don't understand what happen, and what is badly configured...

The PC was running on Mandrake 2006 LE + MythTV previously, without this issue.

Any kind of idea???

Hi tinetof,

I'm a newbie to KnoppMyth, but Ihave the same problem. From what I understand the more recent ATI FGLRX drivers have an issue with PAL and XV. SO if you are using an ATI card, AND the FGLRX drivers, then this is the cause!

If not and you find a solution, then please let me know, as it's bugging the hell out of me!

Cheers
Ferg
