hi just to mention i followed the wiki and the forum posts to setup my audio using the pvr350 tv-out. But for me it's not really clear what to set. Specs: Asus Pundit-S, Audio SiS 7012, PVR-350 PAL, Knoppmyth R5C7, pvr350 setup chosen when installed. Connection with the original cable from S-Video out (PVR350) to Scart (TV) . The Audio cable thingy which is part of the same cable is plugged into the Pundit Soundcard's Line-in. The Soundcards Line-Out goes to my Amplifiers Line-In. This config represents 10A) in the wiki. But i am using analogue audio connection (wiki says SPDIF is not possible with SiS 7012) Alsamixer settings (only unmuted items listed here): Master 75 PCM 75 CD 75 Line 75 Mythfrontend-Setup (expressions translated from german sorry): 1. Settings--> General --> 3. Page [Audio] Audio Output=/dev/dsp Using internal volume [checked] Mixer=/dev/mixer Volume Control=Master (see wiki) Master Volume=75 PCM Volume=75 2. Settings--> TV --> Playback--> 5. Page [Hardware-Decoder] Use PVR-350 MPEG Decoder [checked] Video Device of MPEG Decoder=/dev/video16 TV-Audio Out on PVR-350 only [UNchecked] My problem is: Watch TV --> Picture and correctly synced audio on TV and TV-Speakers (Scart) but on same time i have just noise on the amplifier, so no audio through Soundcard. Logically i can get rid of the noise if a mute line-in in alsamixer, but i would like to use my amplifier. |
