| Post subject: | Linux/Myth Troubleshooting FAQ? |
My previously working KnoppMyth box has become very unstable. I'm probably just going to re-format and re-install and hope for the best. Before doing that I was hoping to get some pointers towards basic Linux troubleshooting. I've picked up little things like "lspci" and "dmesg" looking in /var/log for anything that might be a clue but a "Linux/MythTV Troubleshooting for Dummies" FAQ would be really appreciated right now. Anybody know where I could find one? Thanks, Don |

The MythTV howto is the place to start w/ MythTV related issues. http://mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-20.html If you want Linux HowTos, the best place to start is The Linux Documentation Project. http://tldp.org/ I suggest talking a look at some of the guides. http://tldp.org/guides.html |
