Because the my new myth box I am planning wont have room for more than one pci card, I am considering getting some USB DVB tuners. Has anyone used one of these gadgets? Are they easy to setup? Do they tend to cause you any troubles? (eg inconsistent device names?) Will they have any problems running through a powered hub? Thanks |

I'm running a FreeCom USB DVB-T stick tuner with no issues at all. I'm not using a hub so I can't help you there. Just make sure that the card is supported by the knoppmyth kernel and get the correct firmware file.s Steve |

About time I updated this. I have since bought and installed two MSI DigiVox USB DVB tuners. These tuners work great. Whatever version of Knoppmyth I was running before R5D1 only supported one at a time, but R5D1 works great. |
