Hello, I am attempting to setup an mythtv machine on an athlon 2100+ (tbred-b) on an nforce1 chipset with a pchdtv card as well as a pvr250 (both have already been ordered). Is the 2100+ going to be able to handle it , or would it really be able to make use of a 2600+ ? Thanks, Rob |

With the pcHDTV, you'd be better off with the 2600+. According to the pcHDTV forums, problems exist with using it and a ivtv based card at the same time... Please let us know how it works out. |

and you'll need to get an external vid card gf4mx or higher to take advantage of the xvmc support. If you have to choose between a new mb nf2/new vid card and the faster processor I would go with the mb/vid |
