| Post subject: | Upgrading from Athlon XP to 64 |
I currently have an Athlon XP 2000+ running on a PCChips M811LU. I'd like to upgrade to an Athlon 64 3200+ (Venice) running on a yet undecided motherboard. Can anyone comment on if it would be necessary to reinstall knoppmyth from scratch or whether that would be unnecessary. I'd hate to lose my DB plus all the files that are on my LVM partitions. Also does anyone know a good mobo compatible with that processor and with linux out of the box (sound, usb, ethernet, etc.). Thanks |

Auto (or manual) upgrade. Search for details... You don't have to lost anything. |
