| Post subject: | PVR-150 does not change channels |
I have a PVR-150 card and a A180 card in my system. I got the A180 card working following some instructions I found on the forum. The PVR-150 however does not seem to change channels. Since I am a newbie to Linux does anyone have detail steps to fix this problem? Thanks Trampas |

Get back into mythtv-setup (directions from the wiki - http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=GettingBackIntoMytTVsetup) and under input connections make sure you _only_ associated the tuner with the listing source. While you're there make sure that you defined the card properly. |

Thanks for the reply, from what others have said the Win PVR-150 has a couple of different tuner modules. Thus the KnoppMyth install may have installed the incorrect one and that is my problem. I now need to figure out how verify this and fix it. Trampas |

See the CheckingLogFiles and CompileIvtv pages on the wiki. - In the logfiles you're looking to see if the tuner was recognized. - If it wasn't and you're using R5C7 you'll need to go to 0.4.6 following the CompileIvtv page (substitute 4.4 -> 4.6) BTW - searching for those terms here will turn up links to the wiki. |
