I am inches from a fully operational HDTV Knoppmyth setup. I have one problem.

The colors on the component out of my PNY GeForce 6200 are not correct.

The S-video using the same dongle works fine. In fact, the HP screen that appears when I boot is in the correct color using the component out.

However, once the MythTV GUI appears - the component colors are not correct. The colors are find on s-video and VGA.

I can not help but believe this is a driver issue or that I need to make some change in a setting somewhere. (I have attempted changes using nvidia-settings program, but they do not solve the problem).

I have installed the 1.0-8762 NVIDIA drivers. I will install an older version if anyone has component working.

Any insights would be appreciated. Also, as I am fairly new to Linux, detailed explanations would be most welcome.

I had the same problem and had posted on it. I did every get a full answer but one thing that was suggested to me to try was switching from the nvidia driver to the vesa driver in the XF86Config-4 file. On my projector it looks ok but not the best I went back to using the S-VIDEO, but give it a shot and see how it looks for you.
