I am new to linux and have managed to get everything working so far.. channel listing, remote, watching and recording, playback to a monitor only.

I am using a PVR-150 which seems to be fine but the output source will only work properly with a monitor.

I am using an old ATI-Raedon it has VGA, DVI and S video connections.

I am using a cable convertor from radio shack to change the S-video to video composite.

The picture shows on the TV but it is rolling and in black and white.....

I would point it to the cable or video card but just wondering if other have seen this and might have any ideas for me.

Thanks

I notice some posting about install-radeon script support only 8500 cards.. so I replaced the the old 600 card which does hae tvoutput support with a 9000 card I had .. ran the script and now I have picture that doesn't roll...

maybe my expectation are high but the quality is lacking ..and it doesn't appear to fit the entire screen of my TV...

I will look into this but doesn't anyone have any suggestion on improving the picture...

it looks fuzzy..
