Hello, After adding an Averedia A180 to my R5C7 that has four PVR250’s, my remote has become slow to respond. irw show that it is not responding to all key presses. I am using a universal remote but, it is set up as the Hauppage silver one that comes with the PVR250. The a180 and the 250’s are working fine and I am able to record and watch both HD and SD programs. The only problem is the remote. I followed the information posted by stardot here http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... order=asc& to get the A180 to work. I am sure I could refresh the installation by redoing an autoupgrade however, I would like to understand and fix the problem. Thanks for any help! Ryan |

So, here is what I have found. Apparently it’s the saa7134-dvb module that is causing a conflict somewhere. When I remove the module from the kernel the remote works fine except I can not use the A180. Someone else is also having the same problem although with a PVR-350 not a PVR-250. http://threebit.net/mail-archive/video4 ... 01300.html At this point I am already at the outer edges of my knowledge of Linux so any suggestions, work-arounds or solutions would be extremely helpful.
