I've recently switched from using a monitor as a display device to using a tv. I also would like to switch the audio from PC speakers to the tv speakers, but have run into some issues. I got a cable that splits the audio into left and right rca outputs. If I unplug the pc speakers (where the audio does work) and plug in the cord to the tv I don't get any audio. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Also the audio coming from the pc speakers isn't that great. Are there filters for the audio like there is for the video or some recommended settings?
