Since installing R5D1 I can't seem to get my wireless DLink to confugure. It worked under previous releases.

When I run iwconfig it says:

Warning: Driver for device ath0 has been compiled with version 20
of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 17.
Some things may be broken...

ath0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"DianaGrace"

Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

sit0 no wireless extensions.

And when I configure it (with or without WEP, as I dropped WEP to see if I could get it to work in the clear) it doesn't see the AP or associate.

Has anyone else seen this or gotten their DLINK card to work on R5D1?

Thanks!

-Jeff

Stupid mistake on my part.

The AP in my in-laws house is 802.11b 11Mbps only, and I copied over my config from home with runs at 802.11g.

THe problem was me forcing the 54 Mbps. I turned the speed to auto and all is well.

Back to installing R5D1.

Sorry for the false report.

-Jeff
