I was looking to buy a Studio TV Terminator, and I accidentally wound up with a "Global TV Terminator". Doh! I followed the wiki advice at linuxtv.org and used card=65 and tuner=54 and it works, but the picture quality is lousy.
I'm running coaxial from my Directv d-10 to the card, and using the same cable I use for the TV - I tried several different ones just to be sure - so I don't think it's the cable. the picture is "blocky" like blowing up a jpeg to 100x size. This happens whether I'm hooked up to the monitor or TV.
I might just return it to the store and order a pvr250 - not available at a store anywhere near me, so I would have to order it.
Anyone get one of these to work properly? Any suggestions on trying another card=??
Thanks
David
