Post subject: | IRBlaster attached to Belkin USB-to_Serial Adapter |
Is it possible to get the serial IRBlaster to work through a usb to serial adapter. The setup script gives a choice between COM1 and COM2 (thought this was linux) but obviously i am not using /dev/ttys0 or /dev/ttys1. My adapter configures itself to /dev/ttyUSB0. Is there any way i can "assign" this to "COM1"? I am using a shuttle with no legacy ports and a tuner card plugged into the sole PCI slot R5D1 SN41G2 V3 (no serial) duron 2500 512 MB ram pvr-350 serial irblaster Belkin usb-to-serial adapter |
