The official answer seems to be no. The anecdotal answer (via Google hits) seems to be yes. I'm in a situation where QAM tuning would be very desirable and cost-effective for me.

I've got an MCE box going, and the only reason I've been holding off on making the switch to Myth is the damnable QAM dilemma. I know there are better/*more* compatable QAM-capable cards than the A180 out there, but the price point is the only thing even making it possible for me.

it works ok for QAM
and I believe since it's cable signal, the sensitivity of tuner chip does not have too much effect here.
I can get all clear QAM channels using A180
