I would vote for option 2 because this is how I do it (not incl the pundit). I think you can get the pundit video to work also, but I've read on the fedora mythtv site that it will not be accelerated... I've found the easiest way to get things working is to use any nvida gf based video card that has svideo out. The quality is very descent, and it's easy to do. I have a pvr-350 also. I'm not convinced yet that the output from the pvr-350 buys me much, and in fact, it seems to make some other aspects of mythtv worse. For the moment, I ignore using this as my tvout solution. With basically a base install of KnoppMyth, once you get things configured, you can shoot output from an nvidia card to your tv by simply copying the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.tvout-nvidia-sample (I forget the exact file name, but very similar) to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. When you restart X, it goes to the TV. That's pretty much all you need to do to get results and start using the mythtv box in your living/family room without needing a vga monitor. I've done this with all sorts of Nvidia based cards, including: MSI gf4 ti 4400 gainward gf4 fx 5200 built-in chaintech 7nif2 mx440 based card shuttle built in mx440 based card on my sn41g2 sff pc (my mythtv rig) |

You have to install the nVidia drivers first. |
