Well, I am building my first pvr and I have noticed that there are tons of threads regarding capture cards, but very few about video cards. My intentions are to have video-out running to my television which is a plain ~30" non-hd tv. Could some of you please give me advice on what differences there are in video cards when using with knoppmyth for sending video to your tv? I would also love to hear what cards you use and why.

I am using a 2.2 ghz amd athlon with 512mb ddr 3200, and a wintv pvr-500 capture card.
