I have put together a system for a Myth Frontend/Backend using a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard, A64 3500+, Geforce 6200, etc. However I cannot get the onboard analog audio outputs to work. The device is detected, and shows up in the right places, I have messed with the alsamixer, however I cannot get any sound to output. Can anyone provide some pointers, or share your config files if you have gotten it to work? |

Almost everyone with that mobo is using the Chaintech 710 instead of the onboard, as the onboard digital output doesn't work. However, I originally declined to purchase the chaintech, hoping to save a few bucks, and betting that the digital problem was temporary. The analog autio did work! But I really needed 5.1, so I bought the chaintech anyway. |
