I have a fresh install of knoppmyth and everything appears to work except that when I change channels, it acts like its going to change the channel, but nothing happens. I'm using the Hauppagie PVR-150 that has the silver dog bone and the combo transmitter/receiver cord thingy that plugs into the back of the pvr-150. I also have an IR blaster plugged into the back of the Motorola cable bpx, although I dont know if this is necessary since the Motorola can already receive IR signals through the front panel(wouldnt be able to use a regular remote otherwise) This is the only thing separating me from MythTv euphoria !! Someone please help. Here is my lircd.conf :

Also, I did a cat /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log and niticed a couple of entries that might be important:

/usr/bin/irsend: could not connect to host
/usr/bin/irsend: No such file or directory

OK, made some progress.

I tried the send_power_new script and my IR blaster started blinking. I'm not sure what this means.

I tried this command: ./channel_change.sh 100 .... and got the following:
/usr/bin/irsend: command failed: SEND_ONCE blaster 1
/usr/bin/irsend: unknown command: "1"
Not sure what this means, but im guessing that the script is somehow passing a value of 1 which irsend does not recognize

Referencing the lircd.conf file, i tried manually passing a command to irsend with the following command:
root@mythtv:/etc/irblaster# irsend SEND_ONCE blaster 0_80_KEY_CH_DOWN ... and once again, the irblaster lit up, but the channel did not change on my receiver.

Still waiting for someone to chime in on this.

I have the same cable box. And I've JUST got done and managed to get what seems to be everything up and running... except all the channels are fuzz(no picutre at all) and my DCT2244 isn't changing channels.

We'll see what I manage to get out of playing with it some more.
