| Post subject: | configured wrong remote |
I configured the wrong remote when I installed KnoppMyth R5D1. I have the remote that was included in the box with a Hauppauge PVR-250. Grey (on top) and black (on the bottom). It has an horizontal row of colored buttons at the bottom, below the number keypad. How do I re-run the script that configures the remote? Other than this problem I'm very happy with my Knoppmyth installation. I've been running another live CD distro (MythDora) for about a year. I recently discovered Debian on the Linux desktop and decided to try this distro based soley on its Debian roots. |

Login as root and run the "[color=red]lirc-reconfig.sh[/color]" script. |

Thanks for the response. I'm at work now. I'll run it when I get back home. I can do a "find" if necessary but, I'm assuming the full path is: /usr/local/bin/lirc-reconfig.sh Right? |

tjc - As it turns out, I now know that I have a SILVER Hauppauge remote, not GREY. I ran the script, made the correct choice (16, c) this time and my remote is operating as intended now. Thanks. |
