 Post subject: Parallel port dance pad

I tried installing pydance, and the software seems to work ok, but when I try to configure the conrolls for my dance pad, it doesn't recognize when I press on it.

the pad plugs into the parallel port. What do I need to do to make knoppmyth recognize it as a joystick?
