I am attempting to use my StreamZap remote with R5D1. The remote was purchased from Amazon (not sure if it matters). Receiver: USBIR2 Remote: No model number on remote I exit mythfrontend and open xterm: Code: $ su sudo: unable to lookup Knoppix via gethostbyname() # lirc-reconfig.sh # Choose your remote: 38 Code: cat: /proc/bus/usb/devices: No such file or directory
Setting up streamzap ... cp: cannot create regular file `/etc/lirc/lircd.conf': Read-only file system cp: cannot create regular file `/home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc': No such file or directory chown: cannot access `/home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc: No such file or directory System startup links for /etc/init.d/lirc already exist. Stopping lirc daemon: lircmd lircd. Starting lirc daemon: lircd. The /var/log/mythtv/lirc-reconfig.log file is empty. It appears that since no /etc and /home directories exist, a config file cannot be created. Can the StreamZap be configure to work on a frontend only boot CD? |
