Just for fun I installed KnoppMyth on a box with a WINTV-D card and holy-crap the video works! and I can capture and playback. But, the audio on this card is sent out a pigtail and into the Line In jack of the sound card.

Any ideas how to match the two signals up?

See the FAQ. You need to mute the input you're recording off of (typically line in or mic.) where the out of sync audio is coming from and unmute and turn up the in-sync outputs it's using for playback. (PCM, Master, and there maybe others depending on your card).
