Can anyone tell me if this card works natively (plug and play) with Knoppmyth. Since I had no luck with the Netgear USB MA111, I am looking for a very cheap wireless card that is recognized and I dont have to worry that it wont work. If this is not a good card, can someone recommend a card that is plug and play. Thanks Ron |

First, try searching for the name of the card and "Linux" on Google to see if the card's chipset is supported in Linux. Then if it is, the question becomes: "Is it also supported in KnoppMyth?" So first make sure it'll work in Linux, then we'll know what to look for (such as a specific driver) to see if it's supported in KnoppMyth. |

Just an update, and for those looking for a plug and play card. I installed the card and both Knoppmyth R5D1 and Ubuntu 6.10 discovered and configured the card without any additional software or drivers.... Best $20 I spent so far on the mythtv install, yeah now I have internet!! R |
