Can anyone tell me if this card works natively (plug and play) with Knoppmyth.

Since I had no luck with the Netgear USB MA111, I am looking for a very cheap wireless card that is recognized and I dont have to worry that it wont work.

If this is not a good card, can someone recommend a card that is plug and play.

Thanks
Ron

First, try searching for the name of the card and "Linux" on Google to see if the card's chipset is supported in Linux. Then if it is, the question becomes: "Is it also supported in KnoppMyth?" So first make sure it'll work in Linux, then we'll know what to look for (such as a specific driver) to see if it's supported in KnoppMyth.

Just an update, and for those looking for a plug and play card.

I installed the card and both Knoppmyth R5D1 and Ubuntu 6.10 discovered and configured the card without any additional software or drivers....

Best $20 I spent so far on the mythtv install, yeah now I have internet!!
