Post subject: | WinTV PVR USB2 not found |
Seems that my new installation of Knoppmyth is having problems finding my external WinTV USB2. Whenever I go into the MythTV setup to try to configure it, I get the following error: "Could not open /dev/video0 to probe its inputs." Here's what I have in dmesg: Code: Linux version 2.6.17-chw-8 (root@mythtv) (gcc version 3.4.4 20050314 (prerelease) (Debian 3.4.3-13)) #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Jul 30 12:38:47 PDT 2006 BIOS-provided physical RAM map: BIOS-e820: 0000000000000000 - 000000000009f800 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000009f800 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 00000000000ea000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) BIOS-e820: 0000000000100000 - 000000000bbf0000 (usable) BIOS-e820: 000000000bbf0000 - 000000000bbffc00 (ACPI data) BIOS-e820: 000000000bbffc00 - 000000000bc00000 (ACPI NVS) BIOS-e820: 00000000fffe0000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) 0MB HIGHMEM available. 187MB LOWMEM available.
