I have two R5C7 setup in a multi-backend configuration. I noticed this problem with earlier releases as well. Both systems use a PVR-350 and when skipping forward or backwards, if you do it fast in repitition I get a very loud squeal for a few seconds out of the speakers. If you skip through a program slowly, it will not happen. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to correct this problem? |

Thanks for the advice, will see if that stops it instantly. Everytime I upgrade, I hope the problem is resolved. Hopefully someone can figure it out, even if it is a hack. I was thinking that if you could cut the sound to hardware while skipping, it would resolve the problem. Just not sure how to do it ![]() |

You might want to try the settings option to make seeking frame exact or playing with the audio sync and buiffering options. If memory serves these are under the TV playback options menu... |
