Hi, What is the name and location of the files that actually hold the wireless configuration files? The location where netcardconfig writes? Thanks prosonik |

Hi prosonik, the location of the information stored by netcardconfig is: /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts Am I right in guessing you loose your connection on reboots and will work again once you've re-entered the information by hand? I had this problem with my wireless card: Netgear WG311T (Documented here http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11228&highlight=). I'm afraid I never solved this one. |

Actually, I just configured a dlink dwl122revC, reboot a few times, and everything appears to be ok.. I'm going to enable wpa today, and I want to make sure i know where everything is to edit by hand.. i would of never thought to look at pcmcia.. Thanks pros |
