| Post subject: | Lost all sound after Mplayer and ALSA upgrade |
My system was working fine, but I updated to the new version of Mplayer (so I could play QT files) and now I have lost all sound. I have tried upograding ALSA as well, but still have no sound. The Mplayer and ALSA I installed are the latest stable updates, and I have done my best to configure them. My system is running and SoundBlaster AWE64 soundcard, if that helps. Does anyone have any ideas where I should check. My knowledge of Linux is somewhat limited. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |
