Post subject:  Adding 2 320GB HD's into Existing Setup

Current Setup:
CPU: Athlon XP 2000+
Mobo: PCChips M811LU
Capture Card: Hauppauge PVR250
RAM: Generic 512MB
HD1: WD 80GB
HD2: WD 160GB

Right now on the 80GB HD I have a partition set aside for the OS and the rest (About 65GB) is LVMed with the 160GB HD to make a single 220GB (about) /myth partition. I am beginning to fear the loss of everything on these drives as if one goes, I obviously lose everything. I have only one empty spot on an IDE cable to add one of the 320GB drives I plan on buying (WD3200JB). Is there any way I can add this one drive, migrate everything from the old install over, take out the old drives and clone everything on the 320GB HD to the other in a Raid 1 array. Any links to how this could be done would be appreciated. Unfortunately I do not have enough space on other comps to consider transferring the stuff from the existing HD's over and start from scratch, so I am out of options it seems.

Well, clearly you can add a single drive, mount somewhere in the filesystem, and copy the contents of /myth over to it. I'm not sure about the RAID part, but I think you can create a RAID 1 drive set with one already-initialized drive and one new one. It kind of depends on which RAID you will be using.
